Let me know if you have any more questions. 85 fps looks so good already and I have problema keeping my games above that anyway, that I didn't need to explore further. But I haven't played enough with it to see if I can improve it. Above that I think it automatically enables double strobe and in my experience there is crosstalk that you can't get rid of. One important trick for these settings to be ok is to set the Vertical Total Pixels to 1500 for the customer resolution (that you will have to do anyway for 85hz). For my gpu/cpu I found that I can mostly count on having at least 85 fps so that's what I went for. This will depend on your preferred refresh rate. Hue 47 (it makes yellows look a bit better, that's the color this monitor suffers most with)Ĭolor Vibrance 12 (I think 14 was the default and I felt like it was too far from real life)ĪMA High (but it doesn't matter because it switches to Premium whenever you change something, but Premium is almost as good as High so I don't bother with it)
7 might be better for games but it gives text a white aura which I didn't like. I turned down the contrast to 43 to gray on white more distinguishable:īrightness 85 but 90 is also good I think.Ĭolor Vibrance I started at 9-10, but as I got used to it, I eventually bumped it to 12.Īlso sharpness to 6. Oh and, your settings are almost spot on. Here's the crosstalk test if you want to understand what I'm talking about. Almost sure it doesn't work on 144hz.Īnd belive me when I say, that even 85hz with motion blur reduction ON, is better than any 144hz I've ever seen. You could try 120hz too, but I didn't test if the strobe adjustment works on that refresh.

If you ever go lower than 100 then do the custom resolution on 85hz or whatever your lowest fps is. My suggestion is to use it on 100 hz, create a custom rezolution and modify vertical total to 1350, the in the service menu (second button+power, then 4th button), and change to single strobe, Strobe duty somewhere between 10 and 12 is the best for clarity but you can go higher if you can't get used to the lower brightness, and Strobe phase to 0 so you only have a little crosstalk at the top.īut it also depends on your sustained FPS. I just got this monitor and took me hours to set up.
